As used in this Chapter, “public works improvements” means all improvements within proposed or present public right-of-way, all improvements proposed or intended for maintenance by the city, and for all other improvements to the extent that the city code requires approval from the director of public works, including but not limited to streets, sidewalks, sanitary sewers, storm drains, and water lines.
