There is created a “transit fund”. Such fund is a special revenue fund, and all moneys from taxation for transit purposes pursuant to Chapter 6.15, all moneys received from fare box revenues of the transit system, and any and all moneys received for the purpose of the transit funding shall be deposited in the transit fund.
