The purpose of this Chapter is to identify the importance of water conservation and the City’s commitment to ensure appropriate proactive measures are taken to conserve the region’s water source(s) and supply. Responsible water use and conservation are one of the highest priorities to sustain the integrity of our community.

To support responsible water usage and conservation, a regulated Outdoor Irrigation Season and Schedule shall be implemented.

To support responsible water usage and conservation, existing and expanded conservation programs shall be regularly evaluated, revised, and promoted to help sustain the City’s water supply.

To establish certain policies, guidelines, and procedures for enforcement related to the use of the City water supply in order to promote the responsible use of water and to resolve issues related to water waste within the City in a reasonable and fair manner. (Ord. 23-7 §1, 2023).
