The principal of the cemetery endowment care fund shall not be expended, but shall be invested with the approval of the investment committee. The income from the investment shall be used for the care, upkeep, maintenance and improvement of the cemetery. All investments may be made with municipal, county, school, or state bonds; general obligation bonds of the City of Pullman; first mortgages on good and improved real estate; time certificate deposits; or other low-risk investments.
