2.10.080 Service of notice and orders.

Except where specifically provided otherwise in an individual code which is a part of the Construction Code, notices and orders required by an individual code shall state the reason and authority for their issuance, describe the recipient's right to and the method of appeal, and may be served either:
(1) by delivering a copy personally to the person entitled to the notice; or
(2) by leaving a copy of such notice or order in a conspicuous place on the premises and mailing a copy of such notice or order to the person entitled to notice, addressed to his place of business or house address, or the address set forth on the application for a permit.
