A real estate broker, agent, salesperson, or employee shall not, because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, presence of a mental, physical, or sensory handicap, marital status, sexual preference, or familial status of an occupant, purchaser, prospective occupant or prospective purchaser, do the following:

(1) Refuse or intentionally fail to list a housing accommodation for sale, lease, rent, or sublease;

(2) Refuse or intentionally fail to show to a prospective occupant the housing accommodation listed for sale, lease, rent, or sublease;

(3) Refuse or intentionally fail to transmit to an owner any reasonable offer to purchase, lease, rent, or sublease a housing accommodation;

(4) Otherwise discriminate against an occupant, prospective occupant, or purchaser of a housing accommodation;

(5) Refuse to negotiate for a sale or rental; or make a dwelling unavailable. (Ord. 92-33 §4, 1992; Ord. 81-6 §4, 1981; Ord. B-229 §2, 1975; Ord. B-85 §6, 1973).
