As used in this Chapter the following terms shall have the following meanings:

(1) “Criminal history record information” has the same meaning as set forth in RCW 10.97.030 as now existing and in accordance with any amendments that may hereafter be made thereto.

(2) “Department head” means the person designated by the Mayor as the head of any department of the City.

(3) “Exempt public records” means all public records, or portions thereof, which are defined as being exempt from public inspection and copying by Chapter 42.56 RCW, Chapter 10.97 RCW or any other applicable state law.

(4) “Public Records Officer” shall mean the City Clerk or designee.

All other terms used in this Chapter shall have the meaning given such term in Chapter 42.56 RCW, Chapter 10.97 RCW or any other applicable state law. (Ord. 18-26 §2, 2018; Ord. 93-10 §2, 1993).
